A two day drive will calm my senses. Whitewashed fences blown astray. Let me be the first to say the day we gave our farewell speeches. With only a few hours to go, this manic road will end.

Into the limelight we will run. It has yet to begin, but it sure was fun. Taste the magic on your lips and we'll dream of battle ships. The tungsten is our guide to boost us up full of pride, to tangle the cords of past demises and hide behind our grown up disguises. We will travel to far off places. When we get there we'll pull out our cases. Inside there'll be a passport and I will shed thousands of tears. India, Japan and Peru, I soon found out it was all for you. These palms and fingers are what you are and I will stretch my mind out far.

We knew the deal was melting, falling from the ledge from the turret we built on the corner of our brick house, between the streets and highways across from where I came to stay. There's something left behind and I can say just wait. The force of these new plans brought songs and poems. They're hiding in here somewhere beneath the heavy state of disillusion. If there's a way to bring you 'round let me know. Until then I'll just wait.
